1988, actually Przemyslaw Jankowiak – A Szczecin-born, Gdynia-bound musician, music producer, composer and visual artist. Known for his work with the band Syny (“Orient”, “Dream”), his collaboration with Wlodi (“W/88”) and his solo activity (“Gruda”, “Ring The Alarm”), among others. Since 2020, he has been associated with Def Jam Recordings Poland label. Nominated for the 2020 Polityka Passports in the Popular Music category. Creates within hip-hop, electronic music, bass music, jungle, pop – without rigidly adhering to their framework. He has developed an individual, recognizable style, which he increasingly boldly smuggles into the regions of the mainstream, while still creating on his own terms.
